Here we go… 24 hours from now I’ll have finished the first rehearsal for Charlie and be starting the first rehearsal for Billiards. Two weeks from now we’ll be getting ready for tech and dress at the Storytelling Centre. Three weeks from now I confidently predict I’ll be having a day of doing absolutely nothing before tour planning begins.
The next couple of weeks will be pretty crazy for me, but there’ll still be time for a few behind the scenes blog posts, some mini interviews with the cast and writers, maybe even the occasional video post… There’ll also be some delicious bite-sized morsels of 18th and 19th century trivia on the Facebook page, so if you’re not already friends with Tightlaced Edinburgh and you fancy knowing the atomic number for arsenic or how Bonnie Prince Charlie responded to hearing about the £30,000 price on his head, scoot over and add us to get your fix.
I’m going to get back to my day of carefully-scheduled indolence before it all kicks off tomorrow, but I leave you with a quick snap from just before yesterday’s Affectable session, when I had just collected the skirts for Billiards:
