Our rehearsal studio and office, lovingly nicknamed Fort Tightlaced, is located on the ground floor of Art’s Complex in Meadowbank.
The studio is a black box with a carpeted floor (although we hope to change this for a black dance floor in the near future) and six windows which can be blacked out with lightweight panels. It contains chairs and a piano. It is suitable for rehearsals, workshops, readings, meetings and filming.
The office is connected to the studio by a sliding door. It contains various desks and tables, chairs, tea and coffee-making facilities and our small store of props and costumes. All of these are available for use by anyone working in the space.
We offer our space in exchange for either a recommended donation or bartering/skill-swapping. Money is great, but we are open to offers of cleaning, admin, publicity, workshops in particular skills, loans or donations of things we might need… Get in touch and we can figure out a fair exchange.
